A graduate of Paris Dauphine University, Anne-Christine goes on a humanitarian mission with Children of the Mekong. Back in France, she worked for 10 years in marketing and international development at Unilever and then L’Oréal. For the last years, Anne-Christine has supported 1001fontaines and has helped create the Swiss structure.
Treasurer
Multicultural and multilingual, Carmen has 25 years of national and international experience in business & sustainable development, corporate communications and marketing across industries, including economic promotion, air navigation services, automotive, IT and banking. Quick on her feet with a positive attitude she is engaged and committed to support the Swiss economy and society in accompanying their ecological and social transition. She is also a board member of the B Lab Switzerland foundation and president of the NGO Nicefuture. Since 2011 she is involved in politics as a local councilor in St-Sulpice (president 2021-22) – member of the sustainable development commission and co-founder of the communal agreement party.
Prof Christian Bréthaut holds a PhD in Geosciences and Environment from the University of Lausanne. He is the scientific Director of the Geneva Water Hub and co-leads the UNESCO Chair on hydropolitics. His area of expertise is the analysis of water policies and the issues associated with the management of cross border rivers. Prof Bréthaut’s particular focus within the domain of water management is the capacity of institutions to adapt, the water-food-energy-ecosystems Nexus and the exploration of the link between science and policy.
